This module introduces students to a managerial perspective of core concepts in international business. This includes key international business theories and their application in the international economic, social and political contexts. Students examine the impact of international trade, foreign direct investment and regional integration on both multinational, and small and medium enterprises. The module provides students with the knowledge and analytical tools necessary to understand and evaluate the internationalisation strategies of firms, enabling them to make informed management decisions within the complex global business environment. Through this module, students develop practical insights and strategic competencies essential for navigating and managing the challenges of international business.
