By balancing innovation with ethical and sustainable practices, this module equips students to engage in contemporary global challenges within Intellectual Property Law and understand to responsible AI and platform governance.
This module explores the dynamic and evolving legal landscape at the intersection of AI, digital platforms, and fundamental rights, with a specific focus on the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR). It critically examines the implications of AI-generated creativity on copyright law, investigating how emerging technologies challenge traditional notions of authorship, ownership, infringement and defences provisions.
