The financial reporting and analysis module focuses on developing technical knowledge and skills to enable understanding, interpretation and analysis of companies’ financial statements including Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cashflow Statement. There is an emphasis on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The module will enable students to perform a critical analysis of a company’s performance and valuation utilising financial analysis techniques including ratio analysis.
