Students spend their masters year externally to Liverpool, either working at a company or research institution in the UK or globally. Students will be given opportunities and gain confidence to apply theory and practical skills in a wider context. During the placement, the student will be expected to write a literature review and a final report, but the majority of the year will be spent concentrating on the placement. These activities will provide opportunities to develop the student's transferable skills and professional competence leading to enhanced employability.
