This module offers a hands-on experience in key chemistry areas, including synthetic organic and inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, computational methods, and chemical education. Through mini-project lab rotations, you'll develop practical skills, enhance your science communication, and boost employability. Students will also complete a literature review, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of a key research topic linked to our research clusters including Chemical Models, Chemistry of World Health, Energy and Interfaces, Materials Chemistry, and, Organic Chemistry and Catalysis, and wider topics such as chemical education. By the end, you'll have both technical expertise and the confidence to communicate your ideas, preparing you for success in chemistry and beyond.
