Appreciating the applications of academic research is inspirational to students as they start their academic journey. This module gives students exposure to our diverse range of staff and research, and an introduction to the potential applications conducted within the Department of Chemistry, or wider, through a series of inspirational talks. With an aim to build cohort identity, students will work collaboratively to prepare posters of the applications and impact of our research that can be used more widely to inspire the next cohort of aspiring chemistry students.
