Personal Statement

I joined the Department of Archaeology, Classics and Egyptology at the University of Liverpool as Lecturer in Palaeolithic Archaeology in September 2020.

I hold a BA in Archaeology from Durham University, and an MPhil and PhD (2013) from the University of Cambridge. From 2012-2016, I was a Research Fellow in Archaeology and Anthropology at Peterhouse, University of Cambridge, where I was also Director of Studies for Human, Social, and Political Sciences. From 2016-2020 I was based at the UCL Institute of Archaeology, first as a Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellow and then as the recipient of a Hunt Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Wenner-Gren Foundation.
