Dr Warren Donnellan
Warren describes his work as a Lecturer and view of Liverpool.
Description of my job
I teach across the Undergraduate Psychology curriculum on Lifespan Development, Health and Wellbeing and qualitative research methods. I specialise in pastoral support in my capacity as Departmental Disability Lead, Student Carer Lead and Interim Staff Wellbeing and Development Lead. I also conduct research in the area of older adult health psychology. I have published several peer-reviewed journal articles, mainly in the area of resilience and dementia care.
Best thing about working at the University of Liverpool
My colleagues are my best friends, we have lots in common and support one another personally and professionally. My job gives me flexibility to teach whilst pursuing my own research interests. I am also able to maintain a good work-life balance, managing teaching and research with looking after my young son.
