Tackling the COVID-19 pandemic

Our response to COVID-19

Since the outbreak of Covid-19, the University of Liverpool has galvanised its community of staff, students, alumni and partners into delivering a collective response to meet the challenge of coronavirus.

Our researchers, working at the forefront of innovation and discovery, are playing critical roles in local, national and global efforts to combat the virus, and continue to strive to find solutions to the adverse effects the pandemic has had on public health, our economy and society. We remain committed to:

  • supporting our students
  • supporting the Liverpool City Region
  • supporting the COVID-19 research programme
  • supporting the NHS
