After graduating in 2018 from the University of Chester with a 2:1 BA(Hons) in English Literature and English Language, I decided to pursue a Master's degree in English Literature, specialising in Science Fiction, at the University of Liverpool in 2019/20.
Since mid-2021, I have been a Communications Administrator in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences Communications Team and have learnt useful skills in line with the core values of the University of Liverpool's Strategy 2031.
I am responsible for the following tasks:
• Creating the internal weekly Faculty Bulletin
• Assisting with the monthly Institute Newsletters
• Monitoring social media across the Faculty (Institute and Faculty Bluesky, Faculty LinkedIn, Faculty YouTube)
• Digital content and asset creation such as posters, digital screens, banners (Canva, Procreate, Affinity Publisher)
• Creating external and internal webpages along with edits (CMS)
• Shaping administrative processes and writing SOPs
• Event promotion (pre and post event)
• Writing engaging blogs and news pieces, highlighting Faculty research
• Photography
• Inbox monitoring
