About
I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Transport and Logistics Analytics at the University of Liverpool Management School. My research focuses on sustainable urban mobility, multimodal transport systems, and the integration of passenger and freight transport. I am currently working on an ESRC-funded project that explores modular passenger–freight vehicles and their role in reducing congestion, emissions, and inefficiencies in suburban traffic.
My academic background includes a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Politecnico di Torino. I also hold professional experience as a transport project manager in international consultancy, where I contributed to projects funded by organisations such as the World Bank, UNDP, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
I am particularly interested in applying advanced analytical methods, such as demand modelling and machine learning, to address challenges in sustainable mobility. Beyond research, I contribute to teaching in transport and logistics courses, and I am a Member of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (MCIHT).
My goal is to advance knowledge in transport systems that are efficient, inclusive, and environmentally sustainable, while also supporting evidence-based policy and planning.
