Current PhD opportunities in the Math Department (different deadlines)

Are you interested in continuing your studies and produce a piece of work of research in mathematics or theoretical physics? Have you considered a career in academia?

If the answer to any of the above is yes, we strongly encourage you to apply for one of our many upcoming scholarship opportunities, see below. Unless otherwise specified below, the scholarships are fully funded scholarships (a stipend of at least the UKRI Doctoral Stipend rate of £17,668 per annum (2022/23 rate) — see individual adverts for funding rates) with tuition fees covered only at the Home/UK level.  You may apply for more than 1 scholarship.

General academic related question on each project should be discussed with the project supervisors.

For general administrative information (for example fees, eligibility, language certificates, etc.) please contact the School's PGR student experience team via email spspgr@liverpool.ac.uk or phone +44 (0)151 794 4043.
