Current PhD opportunities in the Math Department (different deadlines)

Are you interested in continuing your studies and produce a piece of work of research in mathematics or theoretical physics? Have you considered a career in academia?

Unless otherwise specified below, the scholarships are fully funded scholarships (a stipend of at least the UKRI Doctoral Stipend rate of £18,622 per annum (2023/24 rate) — see individual adverts for funding rates) with tuition fees covered only at the Home/UK level.  You may apply for more than 1 scholarship.

The prospective supervisor will then decide whether to endorse your application or not.
