Chris McLinden
Head of Continuing Professional Development
Chris is Head of Continuing Professional Development for the University of Liverpool, with responsibility for the management of the development and delivery of CPD and Executive Education programmes University wide, to companies and other employer organisations, both UK and international.
Prior to his current role with the University of Liverpool, Chris has held senior leadership positions within a range of business development and learning and workforce development organisations, both public and private sector. Chris is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
He began his career managing the marketing of the family manufacturing business, based in Liverpool.
Nick Palmer
Business Manager Continuing Professional Development
Nick currently delivers business management support to academics across the University on the development and delivery of CPD and Executive Education programmes, to companies and other employer organisations, both UK and international.
During his 14 years at the University of Liverpool Nick has provided business support on a range of knowledge exchange services including, consultancy, contract research and I.P.
Prior to working at the University of Liverpool, Nick held a number of management positions within the private sector working for a wide range of organisations from multi nationals to SME’s.
He began his career as a Merchandiser for the British fashion company Burberry.
Glenda Rogers
Team Coordinator
Glenda is responsible for the co-ordination and administration of the University’s CPD processes and business development support and also to be the first point of contact for organisations who want to contact the University to discuss CPD opportunities. Before joining the CPD Team in 2015, Glenda worked for the University of Liverpool’s Management School and also in the legal sector for many years in a range of business development and marketing roles.
