This module will provide students with an introduction to the machine learning. It will contain traditional machine learning algorithms, deep learning algorithms, and probabilistic graphical models. In addition to discuss the excellent performance of machine learning, the module will also present the vulnerabilities of machine learning, to raise the awareness of the students on the safety, security, and trustworthiness of machine learning in real-world deployment. Both theoretical knowledge and practical skills will be offered.
