Wyncote Sports Ground

Wyncote sports grounds are amongst the best in any UK University, with 14 grass pitches, one full-size hockey Astroturf pitch, one full-size 3G football pitch, one full size rugby 3G pitch and one 3G rugby training area.

Facilities

Pitch bookings are available to students, staff, and members of the community. Opening hours vary throughout the year.  Please contact us for details on opening times. Wyncote Sports Grounds has the following facilities:

Football Pitches

Nine grass football pitches are spread over two locations: Wyncote and Greenbank. 

We also have a full-size 3G floodlit pitch at Wyncote which our student clubs train and play on during the week.

Rugby pitches

New for 2025, full size floodlit rugby 3G.

We have three grass rugby pitches and a 3G floodlit rugby training area.

Artificial hockey pitches

Wyncote Sports Ground is home to a full-size, artificial floodlit hockey pitch. The pitch is suitable for Hockey, 5-a-side football and 11-a-side football.

Lacrosse pitches

Two outdoor Lacrosse pitches.

Meeting rooms

Book one of our meeting rooms for your next training course. Both rooms are available to the general public, with reduced rates for university staff and students.
