Wellbeing is critical for sustainability and we want to ensure that our staff and students can contribute to a sustainable and healthy future.

At the University of Liverpool we are aiming to empower staff and students to incorporate wellbeing practices into their work and personal lives, by providing an enjoyable place to study and work that fosters a healthy culture and an array of support services aimed at maintaining or improving your mental and physical health and wellbeing.

The Wellbeing Hub provides information and resources on what health and wellbeing is and why it is important; what the University is doing to ensure that staff and students are working and studying in a healthy and happy environment; as well as links to helpful facts and tips to stay fit and well.

Student Welfare Advice and Guidance

The Student Welfare Advice and Guidance offers advice, support and information on a wide range of non-academic issues including finance, disability, issues relating to your general welfare and support for international students.

Counselling and Mental Health Services

The Counselling and Mental Health Services provides free and confidential advice to students to help address personal or emotional problems that get in the way of realising full academic and personal potential.

Employee Assistance Programme

The Employee Assistance Programme provides mental health and wellbeing services and resources for staff.

Carers’ network

Carers’ network to provide a space where staff can share experiences, network, and raise issues with HR.

Wellbeing map

The University has produced a wellbeing map, which shows areas on campus to access support, be active, connect, take time out and places to eat well.

Occupational Health Service

The Occupational Health service povides services to protect health of staff and students, at work, in training, and in study, to assess fitness for work, training and study, and to help manage health issues effectively.
