Personal Statement

Dr. Grigorios Kasapidis is a lecturer at the Operations and Supply Chain and Management group of the ULMS. He received his Diploma degree from the School of Chemical Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2014 and his MSc degree in Computational Mechanics (with distinction) from NTUA in 2016. His research focuses on the development of meta- and math-heuristic algorithms for solving complex combinatorial optimisation problems such as time-scheduling or vehicle routing problems.His research interests include: Meta- and Math- heuristic algorithms, Constraint and Mathematical Programming, GPU-, Cloud-, Quantum Computing as well as their application on complex large scale scheduling and routing problems.
