Dr Andy Davies BA (Hons), MA, PhD

Reader in Human Geography Geography and Planning

    Teaching

I teach in a variety of areas across geography, including introductions to development and political geography at 1st year level.

I also teach on 2nd and 3rd year courses more closely related to my areas of research, namely the interaction between space, politics and political activism, and often use my research on South Asia as a part of this.

I am interested in the utility and pedagogy of a variety of teaching techniques in order to provide a range of learning experiences, and try to incorporate participatory teaching ideas in my modules.
