Personal Statement

I am the Research Technician for the for the MAGMA Lab (Mechanical and Geological Model Analogues Laboratory) research group. Providing technical support for the group researching the behaviour of volcanic and magmatic processes. Using analogue modelling experiments including Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) with the Litron Nano TRL 325-15 PIV laser and rheology of fluids using the Discovery HR20 Rheometer and the Haake Mars III Rheometer, to study fluid dynamics, magma flow and volcanic plumbing systems.
