This module explores emerging technologies such as AI and their transformative impact on organisations and society. It covers the theoretical foundations of managing emerging and disruptive technologies, their practical applications, their impact on environmental, social and governance aspects and key contemporary themes associated with the management and organisation of emerging technologies. Students will be enabled to take a strategic perspective on how managers and leaders can navigate challenges, seize opportunities, and implement the necessary changes to achieve economic, social and environmental sustainability in a rapidly changing world.
