Mathematics for Physicists III

Code: PHYS207

Credits: 15

Semester: Semester 1

Mathematics for Physicists III develops the advanced mathematical methods that underpin much of modern theoretical and applied physics. The module introduces differential vector calculus and deepens students’ understanding of linear algebra, equipping them with essential analytical tools used extensively in core areas such as electrodynamics and classical mechanics. Through a combination of lectures and problem-based learning, students build confidence in applying mathematical techniques to realistic physical problems.
