This Y1 intensive module is for those who have not studied Spanish before and is mapped against the A2 level of the CEFR. Through a variety of learning and assessment activities, students will be provided with basic competence in reading, writing, listening and speaking Spanish in the first semester and will work towards building language and intercultural skills, achieving a solid understanding of the grammar, syntax, vocabulary and use of the Spanish language in context.
