This Y1 intensive module is for those who have not studied French before and is mapped against the A2 level of the CEFR. Through a variety of learning and assessment activities, students will be provided with basic competence in reading, writing, listening and speaking French and will work towards building language and intercultural skills, achieving a solid understanding of the grammar, syntax, vocabulary and use of the French language in context.
