This module aims to give students fundamental knowledge, practical application and critical appreciation of the core principles and techniques in corporate finance and valuation, focussing specifically on the appraisal of investment projects, capital structure decisions, payout policy, raising long-term capital and corporate governance. Students will acquire and practice principal knowledge and analytical skills in corporate financial management, which will prepare them for a career in finance.
