Students will complete a Creative Project as a capstone experience. They will be introduced to a range of approaches to writing across different genres (prose, poetry and drama) as preparation for an independent creative project. Weekly seminars will give an ongoing theoretical and practical context for explorations of the craft, while engaging with trends in contemporary writing. In workshops students will take part in writing exercises and other activities that will help development of the critical and editorial processes involved when writing creatively.
