This module offers students the opportunity to study a particular topic in depth and to engage in independent research, but through a more structured, supported and incremental process than a traditional dissertation. Students will select one from a range of offered special topics, generated by the research interests of the module staff and, through a combination of taught, supervised and self-directed learning, produce a portfolio of work relating to an aspect of the topic.
