This module provides an accessible introduction to the mathematical and statistical tools used in business and economics. Students learn how to interpret data, work with economic functions, apply basic calculus, and use probability and statistical techniques to support real-world economic decision-making. The module also develops confidence with spreadsheet software for practical data analysis. By the end of the module, students will be able to understand and apply key quantitative methods that support further study across their degree.
