This module introduces students to the global ecosystem of sports business. Students will look at the macro-level trends that create opportunities and challenges for the sport industry and will evaluate the role played by a range of stakeholders who play a part in sport. The module will explore key concepts and models which can be applied to evaluate the global context of sports business. Real-world examples and cases will be used to offer insights which will help to equip students for future careers in sport. This module also forms the underpinning for further modules in sport.
