Understanding and creating an Inclusive Curriculum

This element of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion toolkit concerns the construction, design, and delivery of an Inclusive Curriculum. It includes tools, guidance, and resources to help you understand what inclusivity looks like in the curriculum, reflect on your current practice, and set action points for the coming year.

The following are resources that are designed to help you better understand what is meant by an inclusive curriculum. There is a link to an inclusive learning design glossary created by Virna Rossi which gives definitions of many of the key terms we use when discussing equality, diversity and inclusion. You will also find links to tools that allow you to reflect on your own inclusive practice within the curriculum and plan for future improvements.
