Inclusive Curriculum Toolkit

Inclusive Curriculum Toolkit

Collators: Laura Blundell & Dr Kate Evans

This toolkit aims to support you to implement the Core Value of Inclusivity within the Liverpool Curriculum Framework. Also, to implement requirements of revised QAA Subject Benchmark Statements, and Professional Statutory and Regulatory Bodies, as they relate to Equality, Diversity and inclusion.

It is our sincere intention that this toolkit will grow in a co-created way, with contributions welcomed from staff, students, and interested parties. Please email cie@liverpool.ac.uk if you would like to contribute material or have suggestions for us. Equality, Diversity and Inclusion is a rapidly changing area of practice, so please bookmark this page and check back regularly to discover new materials.

Overview

This toolkit is not designed to be used in any particular order. It is currently split into four thematic areas, allowing you to easily navigate to the area/s that most interest you right now. These areas are:

  • Understanding and creating an Inclusive Curriculum
  • Belonging and Engagement
  • Inclusive Teaching and Learning
  • Inclusive Assessment and Feedback

It is worth taking some time to explore all of these areas, as you are likely to find something useful in all of them.
