Welcome to Digital Education at Liverpool

The University has a range of educational technologies to facilitate online, face-to-face, and Hybrid Active Learning (HAL). These include: Canvas (our virtual learning environment), web-conferencing tools, and tools that enable interactive teaching & learning, reflection, peer evaluation, and assessment.

CIE provides pedagogical advice and support for digital education via guides, resources, events, workshops, webinars, communities of practice, and our online Hybrid Active Learning (HAL) Canvas Course, onto which all University staff are enrolled. We have designed these webpages to work together with our HAL support site. Many of our guides and resources remain publicly available via the resources page on our website.
