Curriculum Development

CIE is able to provide a range of support and expertise in relation to curriculum development. Whether you are seeking to change your assessment mode, want to implement group work effectively into a module, change learning outcomes, design a whole programme or are undergoing an internal periodic review our educational developers are dedicated to supporting academic colleagues in all aspects of curriculum design.

We are here to help ‘lighten the load’ and to act as a ‘critical friend’ so that you can be sure that you are using the very best research informed approaches to curriculum design in order to maximise the success of any changes, but also so that you can be confident that it will have the desired impact and enhance the student experience.

Our curriculum design approach is focussed on supporting you to embed the Liverpool Curriculum Framework in your curriculum and underpinned by a Constructive Alignment model (Aligning teaching for constructing learning), whereby we help you link together the learning activities, formative & summative assessments, learning outcomes and  feedback processes holistically to enhance the student experience.

Please get in touch with us by emailing cie@liverpool.ac.uk to discuss any aspect of curriculum development you would like to explore or just to find out more.
