Pathways to Law

The Pathways to Law project is run jointly between the Liverpool Law School, the Sutton Trust and the University’s Widening Participation & Outreach team. It aims to improve access to studying Law at university and help young people progress into careers in the legal sector.

The project involves a rich engagement programme, targeting different aspects of studying law and working within the legal sector. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in various Law lectures and seminars, gain practical work experience within the legal sector and gain an understanding of the undergraduate, and career, opportunities available whilst studying Law.

Participating in the Pathways to Law project will help students to make an informed decision about their futures and provide a unique access to the legal sector. Successful completion of the programme will leave students well-prepared and confident to begin their Pathway into law.
