Pathways to Banking & Finance

Pathways to Banking & Finance is a two-year project that is delivered in partnership with the University of Liverpool Management School, the Sutton Trust and the University's Widening Participation & Outreach team.

The project aims to inspire and support students to progress into Business-related courses at university, and then onto a range of careers in the Banking and Financial sectors, including accountancy, investment banking, tax and asset management. During the project, participants will have the opportunity to discover the various subject choices related to Business at university, including;

  • Accounting and Finance
  • Business Economics
  • Business Management
  • Economics
  • Finance and Data Analytics
  • International Business
  • Marketing

Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in various work experience placements within the Banking and Finance sector, gaining an understanding of the knowledge and skills needed to progress into these sectors. Over the course of the programme students will have the opportunity to meet staff and students from the University of Liverpool Management School and enhance their understanding of student life and the career opportunities available to them within the Banking & Finance sector.
