Careers Support

We can help with each stage of your career plan-from deciding which career direction is best for you, to getting ready for interview.

Throughout your MBA programme, you can access advice in a way that suits you best; participating in the Navigator Programme (which covers topics including team building, conflict management, negotiation and personal branding), attending a one-to-one careers interview, or simply by email.

Our wide range of career resources includes:

  • The Harvard-developed ‘CareerLeader’ package which provides an assessment of your business-relevant interests, motivators and skills
  • The MBA Exchange vacancy website to hunt for jobs
  • Workmaze MBA Recruitment Guides which provide an insight into MBA recruitment by top companies.

Meet employers

At the bi-annual careers fair you can showcase your knowledge and skills to over 70 potential employers. Students are also offered membership of local business societies including Financial Liverpool and Professional Liverpool. Football Industries MBA students are also invited to the elite iWorkinSport Job Fair held in Lausanne in May.

Careers support for MBA graduates

Careers support doesn’t end when you graduate from your MBA programme. You’ll still have access to a wide range of benefits including one-to-one careers interviews, careers webinars and continuing professional development courses up to five years after you’ve graduated.

The MBA programme is rated second in the UK for opening up career opportunities
