Dr Sejal Parmar

Dr Sejal Parmar (Parmar.S@cardiff.ac.uk): Sejal Parmar is an international human rights law scholar and practitioner with a particular interest in freedom of expression. She is currently Senior Lecturer in Law at Cardiff University and the ESRC/AHRC Policy Fellow in Disinformation and Foreign Policy at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. She has previously held permanent academic positions at the Central European University and the University of Sheffield and served as Senior Adviser to the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media and Senior Legal Officer at ARTICLE 19. She regularly works as a consultant for international organisations, human rights NGOs, and technology companies.
