Brief description
This year’s event took the team and participants into space. It hosted three unique synchronous events across three consecutive days, with one to suit different time zone regions.
Participants were grouped into diverse teams and tasked with crafting a digital narrative of an educational mission set across the universe. The event put a strong emphasis on collaboration and openness, fostering creativity and teamwork.
To share their narratives and progress, teams used Padlet, and you can view the mission narratives and exploration pods here:

Islands of Innovation.
Brief description
The festival aimed to connect educators, educational developers and learning technologists across the globe to share educational innovations and co-create an imagined future of education.
The event consisted of three individual events each lasting 2.5 hours to enable participants located in different time zones around the world to participate. The event was organised by a diverse global committee and used Spatialchat, an online collaborative platform.
Participants were allocated into groups to undertake a series of scaffolded activities, leading to a final collaborative task. This Padlet Index has collated all the useful resources and outputs from the day.
