Alys’s role
Alys leads and facilitates discussion and collaborative working with stakeholders to consider how a team-led model would balance workload across teams, recognise and reward achievements, utilise effective collaboration tools, and ensure inclusive practices in research leadership.
She will co-design and stress-test the new model, engaging and collaborating with the AHRC and Advance HE throughout the development aspects of the project.

Collaborating on creative, innovative, and impactful projects that span diverse stakeholders and domains is where Alys thrives.
With over 20 years of experience, her multi-modal career has incorporated Researcher and Leadership Development, Instructional Design, and socially engaged photographic practice.
In her free time, Alys is a keen photographer and flower gardener, and can often be found, on a sunny Saturday morning, in my front garden lying amongst the flowers with my camera.
