The Management School has launched new ‘Enhancement Weeks’, designed to complement the our academic portfolio, ensuring students gain new skills and feel fully prepared to tackle the graduate employment market. Activities will also provide students with a chance to network, develop friendships and embrace their wellbeing needs to help them feel part of the ULMS global community.
The Enhancement Weeks have been built into the academic timetable, with events taking place in weeks 6 and 12 in each semester, providing time and space for enhanced learning, sports and social activities. Alongside this, additional activities, workshops and events will give students the support they need to feel confident, prepared and informed about the skills that employers value and how to get ahead of the game for the recruitment process.
As an example, the planned Enhancement Weeks for students starting their course in 2023 include:
- Access to our launch event and business conference to network with peers and gain first-hand advice from graduate labour market experts
- A recruitment process assessment centre – practice for the real thing in a stunning city location. You will be observed by industry experts and provided with personalised feedback
- The global recruitment fair – spend time in the company of employers and alumni to discuss your career aspirations and find out what employers want from you!
- A range of tailored careers and employability workshops devised and delivered by the School's portfolio of trusted experts
- Access to a range of subject-specific masterclasses that will provide you with the technical skills employers demand
- An inter-programme Sports Day at the University of Liverpool Sports Centre
- A Social Quiz, led by Puzzle Duck
- MSc Execs welcome and introduction session
