Paternity Leave is available to allow employees time away from work following the birth or adoption of a child to enable them to provide care for the child and/or support the partner after a birth or adoption.
The Paternity Leave policy outlines the conditions and entitlements of the University's Paternity Leave Scheme and associated payment arrangements.
- Eligible staff are entitled to take up to two weeks' paid Paternity Leave after the birth or adoption of a child.
- You may begin your Paternity Leave from the day of birth or adoption and should complete it within 56 days of the date of birth or adoption.
