Throughout the year we hold several events relating to Global Opportunities, regardless what stage of the you're on. All our events run during term-time; outside of term (including vacation breaks) please get in touch with the Team via email if you have any questions.

If you've already been accepted to and/or are preparing for your experience abroad, the CANVAS Toolkit should provide you with all the relevant information. You are also always welcome to drop by our Student Desk in the Foundation Building.

An opportunity to come and speak one-to-one with a member of the Global Opportunities Team if you have any complex or personal queries. No appointment required.

Tuesday-Thursday, 10am-4pm during term time.

Foundation Building (opposite the Guild Starbucks on campus).

Ambassador Drop-In

 

 

An opportunity to come and speak one-to-one with one of our Global Opportunities Ambassadors. These are current students who have studied, worked or volunteered abroad during their time at the University of Liverpool. 

Two of our ambassadors will be staffing our Student Desk in the Foundation Building every Monday and Friday (10am-4pm) during term time.

Year in China Information Session

This information session will cover everything you need to know about the Year in China programme.

Global Opportunities 101

This is a session for those in their very first year of undergraduate degrees. This session will help you to understand the Global Opportunities available to you. The session will cover Semester Abroad, Year Abroad, Year in China and Summer Opportunities. We will also discuss, how to choose the right opportunity, how to research locations and partner universities and other practicalities.

Global Opportunities 201

This is a session for those in their second year of three year programmes or third year of four year programmes. This session will help you to understand the Global Opportunities available to you. The session will cover Year Abroad, Year in China and Summer Opportunities. We will also discuss, how to choose the right opportunity, how to research locations and partner universities and other practicalities.

Please note, this session is for:

  • Year 2 students studying a three year or Year in Industry degree
  • Year 2 or Year 3 students studying a 4-year integrated Masters or a clinical programme

Global Opportunities 301

This is a session for those in their final year. This session will help you to understand the Global Opportunities available to you. The session will cover Year in China and Summer Opportunities. We will also discuss, how to choose the right opportunity, how to research locations and partner universities and other practicalities.

Please note, this session is for students in the final year of their degree.

Budgeting Basics

We want to ensure that finances aren't a barrier to you studying abroad - in fact, we have some of the most generous funding in the Russell Group and funding is now available for all University of Liverpool students who choose to study abroad. Our budgeting sessions will cover everything you need to know about financing your international adventure.
