Heidi Williams

First year Geography student

Heidi, who is originally from Aberystwyth, West Wales has just begun her second semester studying for a BSc in Geography. She said: “I went to an open day at the University of Liverpool and the staff and lecturers seemed so friendly and helpful this attracted me here.”

“The scholarship means I do not have to worry about money as much whilst I attend university, which means I can focus more on my studies and achieve more with my degree. My highlights so far have been modules based on climate change as it is so current and it's a threat to all of us.

“After I've finished my degree, the dream would be to work in the UN, but really my intention is to just help people or the planet we live on.”
