Dr Imtiyaz Ahmed Ansari B.Sc., B.Sc. (Tech.), M.Sc. (Tech.), Ph.D.

I have varied teaching interest in the area of General Chemistry, Physical Chemistry and Polymer Chemistry.
In 2002, I gained the City and Guilds National Vocational Qualification with ‘Certificate in Teaching Adult Learners Level 3’. As an integral part of the course, I successfully taught A- and AS- level students Chemistry and conducted practical classes at Leeds College of Technology and Thomas Danby College, Leeds. I was also hired to teach Chemistry at Thomas Danby College, Leeds on an hourly basis.
Prior to this, I was an Associate Lecturer in the University of Bombay, India. There I taught subjects like, polymer chemistry, fibre science and textile dyeing. Besides this, I have supervised postgraduate students in their research in polymers, materials science and textile chemistry.
