Personal Statement

I joined the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering in October 2023 in a part time capacity, I continue to spend the majority of my working week in the Civil Engineering industry.
I'm a Chartered Civil Engineer and have 30 years experience of delivering projects and client outcomes predominantly in the UK Water Sector.
I have held roles in client organisations and multi disciplinary engineering consultancies and have contributed to and led technically complex projects across Wastewater Networks and Treatment, Clean Water Networks and Treatment and Bio Solids. I also have operational experience in the fields of Asset Optimisation and Asset Resilience.
I have worked under numerous forms and conditions of contract, both in a stand alone company and as part of Joint Ventures with collaborative partners.
I am registered as a Supervising Civil Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers.
