Share Your Success: Contribute a Case Study to the CIE Website
Posted on: 4 August 2025 by Will Moindrot in General

Are you involved in a teaching and learning activity that aligns with the Liverpool Curriculum Framework? Do you have an innovative approach, an effective new module design, or a successful student-led project that you believe others could learn from? The Centre for Innovation in Education (CIE) is inviting you to share your work by contributing a case study to our website.
Our goal is to build a rich repository of real-world examples that showcase the diverse and impactful ways staff across the University are putting the Liverpool Curriculum Framework into practice. By highlighting your work, you can help inspire colleagues, foster new ideas, and build a vibrant community of practice committed to educational excellence. Please visit this page for more information on the Liverpool hallmarks and attributes.
For examples of case studies that already appear on our website see our resources database.
Why Contribute a Case Study?
- Inspire Others: Your work can provide valuable insights and practical ideas for other educators looking to develop or enhance their own teaching and learning activities.
- Gain Exposure: Showcase your pedagogical innovations and receive recognition for your contributions.
- Support Scholarly Work: Documenting your practice in this format can be a useful first step in developing scholarly publications or presentations.
- Expand Your Network: Connect with other academics and professional services staff who share your passion for innovative education.
Case Study Format
We aim to make the submission process as straightforward as possible. Our case study format is designed to give a clear and concise overview of your activity. We ask that you address the following prompts:
- Please briefly describe the activity undertaken for the case study.
- How was the activity implemented?
- Has this activity improved programme provision and student experience, if so how?
- Did you experience any challenges in implementation, if so, how did you overcome these?
- How does this case study relate to the Hallmarks and Attributes you have selected?
- How could this case study be transferred to other disciplines?
- If someone else were to implement the activity within your case study, what advice would you give them?
The CIE team is happy to work with you to help shape or draft your case study to ensure it is presented clearly and effectively. We can also assist in recording any additional supplementary evidence, such as student feedback or examples of work.
If you are interested in contributing a case study or would like to discuss an idea, please email us at cie@liverpool.ac.uk. We look forward to hearing from you!
