We sourced opportunities from across a range of sectors, where we matched interns into roles that complemented their degree programmes, skills and interests and were paid £1000 for their work, fully funded by the University of Liverpool via our Santander Universities partnership.

EmployerConnect Autumn 2021: Initiatives and Events
In response to the ever-changing world of graduate recruitment, for autumn 2021 the Employer Connections team reimagined how we connect employers with students and how we facilitate meaningful interactions. Our previous CareerConnect programme of employer-led masterclasses, recruiter panels, mock interviews and career lounges was completely redesigned and rebranded as a new series of events and initiatives called EmployerConnect.

Introducing the Enterprise in the Life Sciences Challenge 2021: A Unique Approach to Attracting Diverse Talent
In Autumn Term of 2021 the Employer Connections Team, alongside other colleagues from Careers and Employability joined with The School of Life Sciences to launch the ‘Enterprise in the Life Sciences Challenge’. The programme was created following a successful bid to the Student, Success and Innovation Fund (SIFF) designed to support projects that aim to address experience, or employment gaps, for, and in partnership with, Black Asian and Ethnic Minority students.
