If you are a current registered student and need accommodation after your contract ends, you are able to apply for accommodation in our summer halls for any period of time, from one week for as many nights you require, from 21st June 2023 with the maximum stay being until the 31st August 2023. If you are already living within halls you will likely stay in your current room until your new summer room is clean and ready to be moved into.
Our summer hall is in Melville Grove which is located on campus and offers self catered rooms in a shared house of between 6-9 students.
You will share a communal kitchen and lounge area aswell as having shared bathroom facilities with two to three people and a wash hand basin in your room. Bathrooms come with a cleaning service.
Bedding and kitchen utensils/crockery are not supplied in summer accommodation so please ensure you pack your duvet and other essentials.
The cost of the accommodation is based on the nightly rate for the duration of your stay according to the 2022/23 accommodation fees.
Single bed - £21.12 per night
Double bed (Very Limited and not always offered as an option) - £22.14 per night
How to apply
Students who are currently staying within our halls and want to apply for accommodation in the summer can do so on Liverpool Life. You will need to make a request for summer accommodation under the Requests section of your 2022/23 accommodation application, we will then look to send you an offer for the period you specify.
If you are not currently staying in our halls, please email the accommodation office on accommodation@liverpool.ac.uk and include your name, student ID number and the dates you require the accommodation.
Please complete the application as soon as possible as rooms will be offered on a first-come first-serve basis. Where available, we can also try to house you with your friends, although this is not guaranteed.
Offers for summer accommodation will be sent out from Mid May and you will receive your invoice shortly after you check in. Payment is not required until after you receive your invoice and can be done online.
