  • Dr Nick Papageorgiadis delivered a masterclass session at the practitioner conference “IP world Summit 2018”, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, 9th – 10th October 2018. The title of the masterclass was:
    “Global Patent Enforcement Challenges in 2018 and implications for your International Patent Filing Strategy”.
  • Dr Nick Papageorgiadis delivered the opening keynote speech at the practitioner conference “IP Law Europe Summit 2018”, in Montreux, Switzerland, 21st – 22nd June. The title of his speech was:
     “Exploring the strength of current international patent systems and its impact on patent filing and litigation strategies”.
  • Dr Nick Papageorgiadis published a new study that reviews existing IP indicators and provides recommendations to researchers and policy makers on how to best utilize them.

  • Dr Nick Papageorgiadis published a new study on the role of European IP systems in attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from China.

  • Dr Nick Papageorgiadis was a speaker at the at the practitioner conference “Brand Protection Excellence Forum”, in Munich, Germany, 7th- 8th June 2018. The title of his speech was:
    “The strength of global patent systems in 2017-2018”.
  • Dr Nick Papageorgiadis was a speaker at the at the practitioner “Nordic IPR conference”, in Copenhagen, Denmark, 10th-11th April, 2018. The title of his speech was:
    “Assessing the impact of the effectiveness of global patent systems on your patent filing strategy”.
  • Dr Nick Papageorgiadis delivered a keynote speech at the PATLIB17 conference organized by the European Patent Office (EPO), held at its Headquarters in Munich on the 3rd and 4th of May 2017. The title of his speech was:
    “Assessing the impact of IP protection and enforcement systems on patenting strategies”.
  • Dr Nick Papageorgiadis was awarded the “Research Award 2016/2017” of the University of Liverpool Management School (ULMS). (July 2017).
  • Dr Nick Papageorgiadis was a speaker at the practitioner conference “IP World Summit 2017” in Amsterdam, 25-27 September 2017. The title of his speech was:

  • Dr Nick Papageorgiadis published a new study on the role of IP systems in determining the equity ownership in cross border acquisitions:
