Call for Papers

Submission guidelines and important dates:

The initial call for papers requires an extended abstract of 3,000, which later (upon acceptance) will be developed into a full paper. Every applicant who submits a paper will be expected to review the work of another applicant. The 3,000 word submission should be a full representation of the final submission, however it is expected that these submissions will be in the developmental stages for many. Empirical papers should however be inclusive some indicative findings. Authors must indicate which journal they believe the paper at this point may be best suited to. The 3,000 word extended abstract should focus on the main ideas of the paper, and include:

  • Purpose of the paper
  • Theoretical background
  • Potential contribution
  • Approach taken
  • Methods of analysis (empirical papers)
  • Main findings and discussion
  • Target journal

If your paper is accepted, the final word-count for the full paper submission will be dependent on the journal you will be targeting and their guidelines. Therefore authors must indicate which journal the paper is being aimed at, in addition, if extended abstract are shortlisted these will be peer reviewed. These reviews will contribute those being selected. We would like to stress that although this conference ultimately requires a full paper submission, we are appreciative and aware of the fact that these papers will often still be within the developmental stages. Further guidelines will be sent out with your acceptance email.
