Sixth Form Students View Research

Mixed group of students viewing research in laboratory

Shrewsbury School visited The Institute of Integrative Biology earlier this month. Over 60 of the School's Sixth Form Biology students attended lectures and tours of research facilites.

The visit was organised by Prof Alan McCarthy who is Head of Admissions and Recruitment of Life Sciences. He said: "We are always delighted to welcome the students here. The emphasis is on exposure to leading edge technology in the Life Sciences, and the Institute is certainly well placed to provide that."
